Sistas’ Place Concerts 2020

The recording project titled Diaspora Meets AfroHORN, Jazz: A Music of the Spirit, Out of Sistas’ Place, will officially be released on Saturday, April 18th during the Central Brooklyn Jazz Festival. Performers on that day include trumpeter, flugelhornist, vocalist Ahmed Abdullah, multi-percussionist Francisco Mora Catlett, vocalist/poet Monique Ngozi Nri, saxophonists Sam Newsome and Don Chapman, tubaist Bob Stewart, pianist D.D. Jackson, African percussionist, Roman Diaz.
